This drill is great for Green Fleet and Level 3 who are just learning to race. Sailors must stay within the box for the whole start sequence.
Teaching Points:
- Learn not to go too far from the line
- Starts
- Learn to race
Modifications:
- 2x false starts, then do a real race to a windward mark
- Play ball tag throughout the sequence and whoever has the ball at the start gets a point. Most points at the end of the session has to do a task (ie. 5 pushups)
- For more advanced, decrease the size of the box
