This drill is similar to the Gut Buster, however not quite as chaotic. It makes sailors think about the next mark to go around and which way to round it, and adds just a bit of chaos to keep their heads out of the boat.
Teaching Points:
- Head out of the boat
- 360s
- Mark Roundings
- Right of Way
- Points of Sail
Modifications:
- 3 marks instead of 4 in a triangle
- Make some mark roundings port and some starboard for added challenge
- Increase/Decrease size of course
